Tamblyn Borton

Environmental Documentation and Permitting Specialist Tamblyn Borton

With over 30 years of professional experience, Tamblyn Borton is an expert on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Her work with the County of Sonoma involved drafting CEQA and NEPA permits for public works projects. Tamblyn Borton has written well over 300 permits and environmental documents.

Ms. Borton obtained her bachelor of science in Natural Resource Economics. She attended California State University, where she completed graduate studies in Urban Planning. Early in her career, she was a licensed real estate agent in California. She also completed extensive sales training.

Later, Ms. Borton worked for the City of Vallejo as a Contract Planner. Her role entailed routine analysis of zoning regulations and coordination between community development and public works departments. In 2019, she held the position of Permitting Supervisor at Star Construction LLC. She was an integral member of the project management team during her time there, researching and tracking permitting activities.
